#1020 Long-Time Sweethearts

| One of the most delightful pairs of bookends ever produced by the esteemed Armor Bronze Co., "Long-Time Sweethearts" always produces smiles. The faces of the two seniors gazing at each other just sparkle with joy. This set, in bronze-clad gray metal with a ploychrome finish is circa 1925. The design, in bronze-finished gray metal, is reportedly based on the Feb. 7, 1922 Life Magazine cover illustration titled "The Flapper" by Francis X. Leyendecker.
