#1002 "Craftsman Flower"

Here is a rare pair of signed and numbered Arts & Crafts copper bookends from the famous Craftsman's Studio in Laguna Beach, CA. The pair is marked "Hand Made" inside the anvil logo and numbered 268. They're also marked "Utah Copper." The patina is "absolutely gorgeous." Dimensions:
3-1/2" w x 2-3/4" d x 4-1/2" h
Weight: 3/4 lbs.

Condition Comment:
Excellent condition with only normal age-related wear. Original felt bottoms intact.

#1036 Crane Flying

A spectacular example of metal art, this depiction of a crane preparing for flight by the important Dodge, Inc. foundry conveys the grace and power of this magnificent creature. It is executed in copper- bronze finished gray metal, circa 1946 and is inscribed with the Dodge name on the back. Dimensions:

The majestic peacock struts his feathers proudly in this wonderfully detailed set of bookends from the respected Weidlich Brothers foundry, circa 1925. Each very substantial plated gray metal piece has a rich patina and is stamped with the WB foundry mark. Dimensions:

Produced by an unknown maker, circa 1926, this relatively rare pair is done in cast iron with a bronze coating and finished with hand-applied polychrome. This set is an inspired artistic achievement. These very substantial pieces still have their original felt intact and the original foundry label is still in place.
